How UK-based buyers review, reserve and follow the purchase of a Fairmont Residences townhouse on Al Marjan Island — without a trip until you choose to make one.

Buying remotely, step by step
- Private video presentation. Your advisor presents the townhouses, the location and the current availability by video call at a time that suits UK hours.
- Price list and floor plans. You receive the current price list and full floor plans by email or WhatsApp.
- Reservation. Your advisor confirms the reservation steps and shares the full payment terms with the current price list.
- Sale and purchase agreement. The developer issues the SPA (Sale and Purchase Agreement); take independent legal advice before signing.
- Flexible 40/60 payment plan. 40% is paid during construction and 60% on handover.
Things to plan for
- Currency. Prices and payments are in UAE dirhams (AED); consider how you will manage GBP–AED exchange over the payment plan.
- Time zones. The UAE is three hours ahead of the UK in winter and four hours ahead in summer.
- Independent advice. We do not give legal or tax advice. Speak to a UK tax adviser about the treatment of overseas property, and to a UAE lawyer about the purchase documents.
- Visiting. The developer's location plan gives about 45 minutes from Dubai International Airport and 15 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
